Julie Berry

Julie Berry is a detail-oriented professional committed to quality and efficiency.  Julie’s background in research and clinical hospital settings combined with her financial experience in several Fortune 500 organizations has shaped her approach to problem identification and solutions. A dedicated team player, Julie is driven to provide the most appropriate and precise answers to organizational challenges.

Julie was born and raised in Macon, Georgia. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Emory University with dual majors in English and Anthropology and a minor in Philosophy. As a result of her pre-med studies at Emory, Julie was employed by Emory Healthcare where she held a variety of positions in the Department of Rheumatology – Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery -Emory University School of Dentistry, and Emory Hospital. In addition to her time in academic medicine, Julie worked at Monroe County Hospital in Forsyth, Georgia. Julie’s roles ranged from research to front-line patient interactions as she staffed positions in hospital laboratories, radiology, and emergency departments. Upon graduation from Emory, Julie accepted a position at Decatur Hospital in Decatur, Georgia where she moved into the business side of healthcare immersing herself into revenue cycle and supply chain management. Julie left the hospital for a finance position with the Fortune 500 medical supply company Baxter Scientific. As a financial professional, Julie was employed by two additional Fortune 500 companies in their Atlanta locations prior to founding Shandon Enterprises, LLC.

Julie’s ability to combine her previous professional experience with the ever-emerging needs of Shandon’s clients has had her performing numerous tasks since the entity’s founding. Among those are medical office building management, billing and collections, payroll, accounts payable, policy and procedures development, medical professional recruitment and events, best practices research and implementation along with long-term business plan development.

While developing Shandon Enterprises, LLC, Julie and her husband have also raised three amazing daughters who are her pride and joy. She enjoys reading biographies of our founding fathers and presidents while sipping a cup of coffee. She loves to plan trips and travel to historical sites.
