Bob Moore

Bob Moore has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare operations, business development and executive management. Bob’s professional interest is in international healthcare services particularly related to opportunities for US firms. He brings a wealth of significant executive experience along with a robust network of contacts in all disciplines of the industry.

Bob currently resides in Virginia but with military roots has called many places home. He graduated with distinction from Babson College, Wellesley, MA with a BA in Accounting and Finance as well as a Master of Business Administration. He also completed Infantry Officers Candidate School in Fort Benning, GA and the Cryptographic-Electronic Warfare Officer Course at Ft. Devens, MA. Bob is Chair Emeriti of the Advisory Board of the J. Mack Robinson College of Business, Institute of Health Administration at Georgia State University.

Bob’s previous work as a consultant has focused on building business with physician groups, hospitals and other healthcare providers. Areas of specialization have included care delivery evaluation and improvement, care integration/transitions of care, and the formation of NCQA recognized Patient Centered Medical Homes. He also assisted in the startup of a national healthcare survey research firm which is now regarded as one of the top ten in the industry in the United States. In 1982, Bob co-founded and served as CEO of Gates, Moore & Company, a physician practice management company with national prominence and over 2,000 clients including hospital systems (public and not for profit), insurance carriers, medical specialty societies and numerous single and multi-specialty physician groups. He also served as an equity partner in a regional medical real estate company that owns, manages and leases medical office facilities.

Bob is a true patriot and was awarded the Silver Star with Valor. He was a Captain in the Infantry and Military Intelligence Branches of the United States Army, serving two tours in Vietnam as well as a tour in Taiwan and Okinawa. He enjoys spending his summers with his wife, Lynn, at their home in Maine.
