Gianni Gonzalez,

Gianni has more than 20 years of experience in health information, reimbursement management, compliance and auditing in both hospitals and physician offices. In addition, she delivers up-to-date compliance guidelines to practices by providing chart-auditing services and coding education programs to both physicians and staff.

Gianni also conducts assessments to determine compliance risk for physician practices by directing compliance audit programs, overseeing the monitoring and audit activities for the professional fee and practice management systems. She also administers, maintains, and sets charges to ensure timely, accurate claim processing and data collection. She specializes in revenue and denials management, including physician coding, provider based implementation, fee schedule analysis, chart review, and coding/billing education.

As a consultant she works with medical practices of all sizes (i.e., solo, group, and academic) to access the operational efficient opportunities as an expert in coding, reimbursement issues and practice management. She has assisted several practices in increasing their revenue by providing detailed audits and reports, and by educating providers. She is an expert in training and educating providers in such specialties as Anesthesia, Orthopaedics, OBGYN, Pain Management, Radiology, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Nephrology, Oncology, Cardiology and Neurology.
